GRACE is a family of Jesus, planted in the ♥ of OKC, To plant the Seed of Hope and Grace in Deep Deuce, Auto Alley, and beyond.

On August 23, 1936, several families and individuals gathered and formed what would come to be known as Grace Baptist Church while meeting in a grassy field, under a lamp post, in the former Belle Isle Park of Oklahoma City.

On March 28, 2021, the current families and individuals of Grace Baptist Church will gather and meet for the last time under this banner. We will forever be grateful for the countless souls of saved and baptized, the sister churches planted, the missionaries sent and supported, and the pastors and Christian ministers trained and equipped. Not to mention the the innumerable Christians discipled in the Word of God, who grew in their relationship with Jesus, empowered by the Holy Spirit to live transformed lives for The Lord Almighty.

Environment

At GBC, we believe the Environment of our gatherings should be Welcoming and Comfortable to everyone, regardless of where you are at in your present journey.

Worship

Jesus said that true worshipers will worship "in spirit and in truth." So all of our music is specifically chosen to honor Jesus in this way, to communicate from our spirit to His, and to speak truth.

Teaching

Jesus said All of the Scripture speaks of and points to Him. This simple statement guides all of our interpretation of the Bible and teaching from it, believing that it is also a Light for our daily path.

sometimes going to church can seem intimidating. You don't have to do it alone.

The Church should be a people and a place where anyone can feel safe to come as you are, knowing that it’s okay to not be okay. At GBC, you are welcome to come and fully engage in worship and learning from day one. Or, you are welcome to come and observe quietly. Either way, we all have baggage that we may carry in, but that we don’t have to carry it out.
In here, in Jesus, we find Healing, Hope, and Grace.
